IN RESPONSE to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, Eric, Garner, Philandro Castile, Atatiana Jefferson, Stephon Clark, Botham Jean, Sandra Bland and many more Black and Brown Americans, Pulse Arts stands with the Black Lives Matter movement and continuous fight for human rights. We are committed to empowering youth to be activists by providing creative outlets and opportunities to address social issues and community change through the arts. The oppression of the Black Community is systemic. Now, more than ever, it is crucial to mobilize as a community and continue working to provide resources to our community leaders, educators, and youth. We must talk to one another, LISTEN to one another, and do what we can to support the advancement of social justice and progressive change.
